Name: Jonathan

Research Executive – working very closely with our research team, to ensure that we are exceeding the needs of the client, with valuable and insightful work. I often have to utilise both my quantitative and qualitative skills to help deliver projects.

 

Experience:

A First class degree in Economics alongside some business consultancy work in Africa (I was working for a charity which provides support to SMEs, to help them grow and prosper)

How do you define success?

Working towards (and hitting) your goals – whatever they may be. It doesn’t matter how small they are.

 

What is the best book you have ever read?

Thinking, Fast and Slow – Daniel Kahneman

 

What is the best place you have travelled to?

Livingstone, Zambia. To see Victoria falls and elephants on the Zambezi river.

 

Where would like to travel to next?

South East Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Laos – cheap and great food)

 

Where is your hometown?

Cockermouth, Cumbria on the edge of the Lake District

 

What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?

Probably something similar, such as business management. Although my dream job would involve flying planes.

Try harder, but worry less (easier said than done)

Building a business worth £100m, before selling it and starting a cool charity with the money (by the age of 35!)
